A total of 20 Guest Teacher (TGT) positions are available across four Eklavya Model Residential Schools:

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements:

For TGT posts, candidates must have:

• A three-year Bachelor's Degree (Honours) in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized institution.
• Desirable: A four-year integrated B.Ed. or a general B.Ed. degree.
• CTET Paper-2 (for Classes VI-VIII) conducted by CBSE is preferred. If CTET qualified candidates are not available, STET qualified candidates may be considered.

• Maximum Age: 60 years
• Retired teachers from State Government/KVS/NVS/recognized CBSE schools can also apply. The maximum age limit for retired teachers is 65 years, provided they are physically fit to work in a residential school.

• The District Level Committee reserves the right to select the school for the Guest Teachers.
