Vacancy Details

The recruitment is for a total of six Zonal Security Officer positions, with one post allocated for each specified Zonal Office. Additionally, there are two FL Counsellor positions, with one post for each Lead District Office mentioned.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and experience requirements to be eligible for these positions.

• Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized Institute.
• Experience: Must have served as a DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) or equivalent in Police/Army/Paramilitary forces with an excellent/meritorious service record. Minimum of three years of experience as Deputy Superintendent of Police or equivalent is required.

• Educational Qualification: Graduate from a recognized institute.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience in Banking / related fields (Financial Planning, Insurance, Investment, Fintech, Law).
• Skills: Working knowledge of computers, knowledge of the local language, and skills in conducting Financial Literacy camps.
• Preference: Preference will be given to J&K Bank Officers who have superannuated in the normal course or through Voluntary Retirement and have not been awarded any punishment under major penalties during their service.

The maximum age limit for both Zonal Security Officer and FL Counsellor posts as of 01.01.2026 should be 62 years.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 500/- (including GST) per application. This fee must be paid while submitting the online application.

Salary / Remuneration

The positions are purely contractual, and the remuneration is fixed for the entire contract period.

• Zonal Security Officer: Rs. 45,000/- Per Month. Additionally, TA/DA will be admissible for official tours/visits.
• FL Counsellor: Rs. 22,000/- Per Month. In addition, monthly conveyance, Mobile/Telephone charges, and performance-linked incentives will be payable.

No superannuation benefits like Pension, Provident Fund, or Gratuity will be provided. Applicable taxes will be deducted at source.

Selection Process

The selection process for both Zonal Security Officer and FL Counsellor posts involves the following stages:

1. Screening: Applications received will be screened to shortlist eligible candidates.
2. Interview/Interaction: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview or Interaction.

Intimation for the interview will be sent via email only; no hard copy will be dispatched.
