The candidate should have passed the NET examination conducted by UGC/CSIR/ ICAR recognized by the State Government in the subject where, NET examination is conducted and should have published at least one article in National Academic Agriculture Science (NAAS) New Delhi rated journal. But candidate who has acquired Ph.D. degree with course work as per the UGC Notification 2009 and published two full length publication having a NAAS rating not less than four shall be exempted from NET. Those candidates with Ph. D. degree without course work will not be considered.
