Applications are invited for vacant posts of Senior Resident (Un-registered) in the following department:

Note: The number of posts advertised may increase or decrease at the time of the interview. These seats may also vary as per further adjustments by DGME UP, Lucknow.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to be eligible for the Senior Resident posts.

Candidates should have passed M.D./M.S./D.N.B. (for Senior Resident) recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC).

The maximum age limit for Senior Residents is 45 years as per NMC rules.

Application Fee

The walk-in interview fee is to be deposited as per the details below:

• Rs. 3,000/- for Unreserved (UR) & OBC candidates.
• Rs. 2,000/- for SC & ST candidates.

Pay and allowances will be as per University rules.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in a walk-in interview.

How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates need to download the application form from the KGMU website. The duly filled application form, along with self-certified copies of all relevant documents, must be submitted to the office of the Medical Superintendent by the last date.

Documents Required

Candidates must bring one set of Xerox copies of all relevant certificates and testimonials, along with the originals for verification at the time of the interview.

In case of selection, Affidavits are required as per annexure (1 & 2) on Rs. 10/- e-stamp paper regarding previous experience and caste certificate at the time of joining.

OBC candidates must ensure their caste certificate is less than 6 months old.

Important Instructions

• Reservation will apply as per Uttar Pradesh Government rules. Only candidates with domicile of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for reservation benefits. Candidates from other states will be treated as unreserved.
• Reserved category candidates should produce their category certificate in the prescribed format.
• State Medical Registration is mandatory before joining, if selected.
• No T.A. / D.A. will be given for attending the interview.
• The Vice Chancellor reserves the right to cancel the advertisement in part or whole without assigning any reason.
