Vacancy Details

A total of 5 vacancies are available for the posts of Senior Resident (Hospital Services) and Medical Physics Resident. The distribution of vacancies is as follows:

• Medical Physics Resident: M.Sc. in Medical Physics or M.Sc. in Physics from a recognized University, followed by a postgraduate Diploma in Radiological Physics from BARC, Mumbai, or an equivalent qualification recommended by AERB, Mumbai.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The upper age limit for all applicants is 45 years as on the date of the interview.

Salary and Pay Scale

The remuneration for the selected candidates will be as per the 7th Pay Commission and institute rules:

• Senior Resident (Hospital Services): Initial Pay Rs. 67,700/- in the pay matrix of Rs. 67,700- 2,08,700, Level-11.
• Medical Physics Resident: Initial Pay Rs. 35,400/- in the pay matrix of Rs. 35,400-1,12,400/- Level-6.

The appointment is contractual for a tenure of 12 months.

Selection Process

The selection for the posts of Senior Resident and Medical Physics Resident will be based on a Walk-in Interview. Candidates are required to report for the interview with all their original and self-attested documents for verification.
