Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to be considered for the JRF position.

Candidates should have one of the following qualifications:

• M.E./ M.Tech/ M.Sc in Mechanical / Biomedical / Production / Material science / Manufacturing Engineering / Physics / Chemistry or in a relevant specialization.
• OR
• B.Tech./B.E. or an Integrated Professional Degree in the relevant field of expertise, provided they have secured a minimum CGPA of 7.5 on a 10-point scale and have qualified in the GATE Examination.

The age of the candidate should not be over 33 years as on the date of the advertisement (19th September 2026). Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India (GOI) rules for SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped candidates.

Fellowship and Benefits

The fellowship amount will be as per DST-ANRF Norms:

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): ₹37,000/- + HRA per month
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): ₹42,000/- + HRA per month

The selected candidate will also be eligible to register for a Ph.D. degree at MANIT Bhopal as per the Institute Norms.
