Selection will be based on a combination of examination and physical tests.

Stage	Process
Written Examination	Candidates will appear for a written test.
Physical Measurement	Physical measurement shall be conducted before the Physical Efficiency Test.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)	Full Marks 150, Qualifying Marks 60. Candidates must meet minimum standards in each category of PET. Total marks obtained in PET will be added to the final score.
Personal Interview	Candidates qualifying the written exam and PET will be called for a personal interview.
Tie-breaking Rule	If two or more candidates obtain equal final marks, preference will be given to the taller candidate.

The selected candidates will receive pay as per the Government of Mizoram norms.
