Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to be eligible for the NCL Medical Consultant posts.

• Consultant (Medical Specialist): MBBS degree from a recognised institute or college approved by the Medical Council of India. Must also hold a recognised postgraduate degree, DNB, or postgraduate diploma in the relevant speciality.
• Consultant (GDMO): MBBS degree from a recognised institute or college approved by the Medical Council of India.

• Retired Medical Specialist: Minimum 15 years of experience in the relevant speciality, supported by self-declaration.
• Medical Specialist (other than retired executives of CIL, PSUs or government organisations): Minimum 7 years of experience in the relevant speciality.
• GDMO (other than retired executives of CIL, PSUs or government organisations): Minimum 3 years of experience as GDMO.

Retired medical executives must also meet the service-record, disciplinary, and integrity conditions mentioned in the notification.

The applicant must not be more than 70 years old during the contract period. The engagement cannot continue after the consultant reaches 70 years of age.

Honorarium (Salary)

The engagement is on a part-time basis, and consultants will receive an honorarium as follows:

Selection Process
