The Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) in Hyderabad has released a recruitment notification for temporary contractual positions under an ICMR-funded clinical research project. Applications are invited for three different posts.

Vacancy Details

NIMS Hyderabad is hiring for the following posts:

• Project Research Scientist-III (Non-Medical): 1 Post
• Project Nurse-III: 1 Post
• Project Technical Support-III: 1 Post

All appointments are purely temporary/contractual and will last for an initial period of 1 year, extendable annually up to 36 months based on performance, project continuation, and available funds.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the specified educational qualifications, experience, and age limits for each post.

• Project Research Scientist-III (Non-Medical): Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Public Health, Clinical Research, or an allied field with 5 years of post-qualification experience, OR a PhD with 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Project Nurse-III: A four-year Nursing course from a recognized institution. Registration with the Nursing Council is desirable.
• Project Technical Support-III: A three-year graduate degree in a relevant Life Science, Health Science, or Allied discipline with 3 years of post-qualification experience, OR a postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.

• Project Research Scientist-III (Non-Medical): Not exceeding 45 years (relaxation as per rules).
• Project Nurse-III: Not exceeding 30 years (relaxation as per rules).
• Project Technical Support-III: Not exceeding 35 years (relaxation as per rules).

Salary / Pay Scale

The emoluments are as sanctioned by ICMR for Years 1-2. Any later revision will be based on the approved sanction/budget and applicable rules.

• Project Research Scientist-III (Non-Medical): Rs. 1,01,400/month (includes ₹78,000 + HRA @30%).
• Project Nurse-III: Rs. 36,400/month (includes ₹28,000 + HRA @30%).
• Project Technical Support-III: Rs. 36,400/month (includes ₹28,000 + HRA @30%).

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the date, time, and venue for an interview or written test via phone or email. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview or for joining the post.
