Vacancy Details

NIT Delhi is looking to fill one vacancy for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post must meet the following educational qualifications:

  • Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in a Professional Course.
  • The selection for the course should have been through a National Eligibility Test such as CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship) or GATE.
  • Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 on a scale of 10.

Desirable Experience:

  • Good knowledge of fundamentals in Plasma Physics, Microwave, Antenna Design & Development.
  • Expertise in Metamaterial antenna modelling and Simulation.
  • Good programming skills in MATLAB/Python/HFSS/CST/ADS.
  • Prior experience of working in the above domains.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for candidates is 28 years. Age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD candidates as per Government of India/DOS/ISRP norms.

Salary / Stipend

The salary for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will be as per DOS norms.

Selection Process

Candidates who meet the required qualification and experience can appear for a walk-in interview. The decision of the expert panel will be final. The appointment is for a time-bound project, and the selected candidate must work dedicatedly for its successful completion. The selected candidate is required to join immediately. All terms and conditions will be as per guidelines of DOS/ISRO norms.
