Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications:

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF): B.E/B.Tech with first class in Biomedical/ECE/EEE/ICE/EIE /Allied Circuit Branches, from a UGC recognized University/College and with GATE Qualification.
  • Project Associate-1: B.E/B.Tech with first class in Biomedical/ECE/EEE/ICE/EIE /Allied Circuit Branches, from a UGC recognized University/College.

Preference for both posts: M.E/M.Tech in Biomedical/ Instrumentation/ Allied Circuit Branches, from a UGC recognized University/College (First Class i.e., 60% or 6.5 CGPA).

Age Limit

The upper age limit for applicants is 32 years.

Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories:

  • SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation
  • OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation

Salary / Stipend

The salary will be as follows:

  • For GATE Qualified candidates (JRF): Rs. 37,000/- + HRA (first two years) and Rs. 42,000/- + HRA (3rd year).
  • For Non-GATE candidates (Project Associate-1): Rs. 30,000/- + HRA (first two years) and Rs. 33,000/- + HRA (3rd year).
