This position is for the Mahanadi Basin Project (MBP) in Bhubaneswar.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following conditions to be eligible for the Consultant (Land & Coordination) post:

Educational Qualification
  • Applicants must hold a Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in any discipline.
  • The degree should be a Full-time Regular course from an Institute, College, University, or Deemed University recognized by AICTE/UGC.
Experience Requirements
  • Candidates must have retired from at least the post of Deputy General Manager (Grade F) or a Gazetted Officer, or an equivalent post.
  • This retirement should be from Oil India Limited (OIL) or any other Government, PSU, or Private sector organization.
  • A minimum of 30 years of working experience in any Government, PSU, or Private sector on a permanent basis is required.
  • Out of the 30 years, at least 10 years of experience must be specifically in dealing with land-related matters.
Age Limit
  • The age of the applicant should not be more than 63 years as on the last date of application submission (September 18, 2026).
Other Skills and Conditions
  • Ability to work on desktop computers with basic knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Proficiency in the English language is essential.

Salary / Honorarium

The selected Consultant (Land & Coordination) will receive a consolidated monthly honorarium of Rs. 1,50,000/-.

This amount is lump-sum and includes expenses for local conveyance, telephone (landline/mobile), and internet. During domestic official tours, a daily allowance of ₹ 1,800/- per day will be provided. The consultant will also be entitled to 10 days of paid leave for every six months, on a pro-rata basis, which is non-cumulative and non-encashable.
