The Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) has announced recruitment for Guest Faculty positions at its College of Agriculture and College of Horticulture in Chiplima. This recruitment is for the academic year 2026-27.
This is a walk-in interview process for engaging Guest Faculty. The engagement is for the academic year 2026-27 and may be terminated before the end of the academic year. Candidates selected will not have any claim for regular appointment under OUAT.
The walk-in interview for the Guest Faculty positions will be conducted on 06th October, 2026. Candidates must report at the venue by 10:30 AM.

Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to be eligible for the Guest Faculty positions.
Educational QualificationCandidates must hold a Master's Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University. A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA of 5.5 in a 10-point scale with a good academic record is required. Desirable qualifications include NET/ M-Phil/ Ph.D. Degree in the concerned subject. Research publications in peer-reviewed journals will be given due weightage.
Age LimitThe maximum age limit for candidates is 64 years as on 30.09.2026.
Candidates appearing for the walk-in interview must submit a Demand Draft or Banker's Cheque of Rs. 500.00. This should be in favour of the Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar.
The remuneration for Guest Faculty will be Rs. 1200/- per class, with a maximum limit of Rs. 60,000/- per month, as applicable.
Selection will be based on a Walk-In-Interview. Candidates need to appear for the interview with all required documents.
Interested and eligible candidates must appear for a Walk-In-Interview. They need to report to the Dean's Chamber, College of Agriculture, OUAT, Chiplima on the interview date. Candidates must bring all original documents, two sets of self-attested photocopies, and two recent passport-size photographs along with their updated Bio-data.
A Demand Draft/Banker's Cheque of Rs. 500.00 in favour of Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar must be submitted before appearing for the interview.
