PCCF & HoFF Assam Recruitment 2026: Contractual Engagement for Computer Assistant and GIS Analyst

The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force, Assam (PCCF & HoFF Assam) has announced a recruitment drive for contractual positions. Eligibility Criteria

Computer Assistant:

• Graduation in any discipline.
• One year Diploma in Computer Application from any Government recognized University/Institute.

GIS Analyst:

• Master's degree in GIS and Remote Sensing.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

While not mandatory, certain qualifications and experience can be advantageous:

Computer Assistant:

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in the Forestry sector.
• Well-versed with Office software.
• Preference will be given to candidates having working experience with Externally Aided Projects.

GIS Analyst:

• Minimum 5 years of work experience with spatial software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, ERDAS Imagine).
• Well-versed with Office software.
• Preference will be given to candidates having working experience with Externally Aided Projects.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a fixed remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- per month for both positions.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on an interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed and called for the interview. No travelling allowance or other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
