Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and registration requirements to be eligible for the Senior Resident posts:

• Educational Qualification: MBBS with a PG Degree/Diploma or any other equivalent qualification in the concerned specialty recognized by the Medical Council of India.
• For Non-PG Candidates: If a PG candidate is not available, Non-PG candidates with at least two years of experience in the concerned specialty in a Government or Government-empanelled hospital will be considered.
• Registration: Must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC). Only qualifications incorporated in the DMC will be considered.
• Residency Completion: Candidates must not have completed three years of Senior Residency.
• Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit

The age limit for candidates applying for the Senior Resident posts is 45 years as of the date of the interview.

Age relaxation will be provided to OBC candidates as per Government of NCT of Delhi rules.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a salary as per Level-11 of the 7th Pay Commission.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on a walk-in interview. Candidates are required to report to the interview venue with all necessary original certificates and self-attested copies.

A panel of waitlisted candidates will also be prepared for future vacancies.

Important Instructions

• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
• Only OBC (Delhi) candidates are eligible for reservation/age relaxation benefits under the OBC category, as per specific Government of NCT of Delhi orders. OBC (Outside) candidates will be treated as Un-reserved.
• OBC candidates must possess a non-Creamy layer certificate along with their caste certificate on or before the cut-off date. Specific types of OBC certificates are accepted as valid.
• In case of non-availability of SC/ST/OBC candidates, the post may be filled from the General category on an ad-hoc basis for 44 days.
• Selected candidates must join within 07 days of receiving the offer of appointment.
• Appointment is subject to medical fitness and verification of all certificates.
