Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) has announced a recruitment drive for Engineering Professionals. This is a recruitment for regular basis positions. RITES is a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India.

Vacancy Details

The essential educational qualification for all advertised posts is a Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

• DGM/ Contract Specialist: Minimum 11 years of experience in Highway/Expressway Construction (Item Rate/EPC/HAM/BOT/Annuity model). Experience in Arbitration, Dispute Resolution, and Settlement of Claims is desirable.
• Manager/ Structural Engineer: Minimum 5 years of experience in design of Highway Bridges/ ROBs/ RUBs/ Flyover/ VUPs and related structures. Minimum 2 years of experience in Structural Health Assessment of Bridges & Structures and Rehabilitation Measures.
• Manager/ Highway Design Engineer: Minimum 5 years of experience in Highway Design (Geometric Design/ Pavement Design/ Design of Junctions/ Intersections etc.) as per IRC/AASHTO/ British and other International Standards.
• Assistant Manager/ Highway Design Engineer: Minimum 2 years of experience in Highway Design (Geometric Design).
• Assistant Manager/ Structural Engineer (Highway Design): Minimum 2 years of experience in Design of Foundation, Substructure, Superstructures for highway bridges & structures.

Apprenticeship training, as per The Apprenticeship Act 1961, in the relevant discipline will be considered for minimum post-qualification experience.

The age limit is not specified in the official notification. However, age relaxation will be provided to certain categories:

• RITES regular/contract employees: 5 years over and above the upper age limit.
• SC/ST Category: 5 years
• OBC-NCL Category: 3 years
• J&K Domicile: 5 years
• Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10 years (in addition to category-wise relaxation if applicable and if the post is identified suitable for PwBD).

Salary / Pay Scale

Salary details are provided based on the candidate's current employment sector and pay scale:

• For DGM/ Contract Specialist:
• From Central/State Govt./PSU/Autonomous Organizations: Total experience of 11 years, with at least 2 years in IDA pay scale of Rs. 60,000-1,80,000 / CDA pay scale in Level 11 of 7th CPC.
• From Private Sector or other Organizations: Total experience of 11 years and an annual CTC of at least 24.10 LPA.
• For Manager/ Structural Engineer & Manager/ Highway Design Engineer:
• From Central/State Govt./PSU/Autonomous Organizations: Total experience of 05 years, with at least 2 years in IDA pay scale of Rs. 40,000-1,40,000 / CDA pay scale in Level 7 of 7th CPC.
• From Private Sector or other Organizations: Total experience of 05 years and an annual CTC of at least 16.27 LPA.

The requirement of residency of two years in the immediate lower scale is not applicable for candidates from the same or higher pay scale.

Selection Process

The selection process will involve a Written Test. The tentative date for the written test is 25.10.2026.
