RITES Limited is hiring for the following Individual Consultant positions:

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the minimum educational qualifications and work experience requirements for the respective posts. The age limit for all positions is not exceeding 60 years.

• Minimum Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc in Civil / Environmental / Chemical / Public Health / Biotechnology Engineering or equivalent AND M.Tech / M.E. / M.Sc. in Environmental / Public Health / Chemical / Sanitary / Water Resource Engineering or equivalent.
• Preference: Candidates holding a PhD will be given preference.
• Work Experience & Payment:
  • 08 years' experience in Sewage / Wastewater Management / Sludge Management / Design and Implementation in mentioned fields / related field - Rs. 1,60,000/- per month.
  • 10 years' experience in Sewage / Wastewater Management / Sludge Management / Design and Implementation in mentioned fields / related field - Rs. 1,80,000/- per month.
  • 12 years' experience in Sewage / Wastewater Management / Sludge Management / Design and Implementation in mentioned fields / related field - Rs. 2,00,000/- per month.

• Work Experience & Payment:
  • 10 years' experience in Standards and Specifications in the field of sewage, wastewater management, sludge management and solid waste management or relative field – Rs. 1,80,000/- per month.
  • 12 years' experience in Standards and Specifications in the field of sewage, wastewater management, sludge management and solid waste management or relative field – Rs. 2,00,000/- per month.
• Area of Experience: Standards and Specifications/guidelines/policy making etc in the field of sewage/wastewater/used water management (UWM), sludge management and Solid Waste Management (SWM) or related field.

• Minimum Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc in Civil / Environmental / Chemical / Public Health Engineering or equivalent AND MBA/PG in Management or equivalent.
• Work Experience & Payment:
  • 10 years' experience in Sewage / Waste-water Management / Solid Waste Management/procurement/ tendering & contract agreements/ related field – Rs. 1,80,000/- per month.
  • 12 years' experience in Sewage / Waste-water Management / Solid Waste Management/procurement/ tendering & contract agreements/ related field – Rs. 2,00,000/- per month.

Note: The period of training (except on-the-job training) / internship/teaching/academic/fellowship / PhD research experience shall not be counted as a part of experience.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for all the Individual Consultant posts is not exceeding 60 years as on the last date of submission of application.

Application Fee

The application fee for all categories of posts is NIL.

Salary / Pay Scale

The payment for services will be consolidated and determined based on the verified number of years of relevant experience. The monthly remuneration is as follows:

• For Used Water Expert: Rs. 1,60,000/- to Rs. 2,00,000/- per month.
• For Standard & Specification Expert: Rs. 1,80,000/- to Rs. 2,00,000/- per month.
• For Procurement Specialist: Rs. 1,80,000/- to Rs. 2,00,000/- per month.

In case the contract is for more than one year, the remuneration may be reviewed annually based on the escalation received in the client's fee for the previous year.

Selection Process

The selection process involves the following stages:

1. Document Scrutiny/Verification: All candidates who successfully submit their online application form will be provisionally allowed to appear for document scrutiny. The eligibility of candidates with respect to the post applied for will be verified.
2. Personal Interview: Candidates will be evaluated based on technical skills, subject knowledge, experience, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Candidates will have to produce copies of their educational qualifications and experience, which will be verified from original documents. Based on the fulfillment of eligibility conditions, candidates will be shortlisted for the interview.
