Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and experience requirements:

Full-time Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication or equivalent.

• For Diploma holders: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in Installation & Commissioning/Maintenance/Supervision of metro rolling stock PAPIS System.
• For Degree holders: Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in Installation & Commissioning/Maintenance/Supervision of metro rolling stock PAPIS System.

Note: Training, internship, teaching, academic, fellowship, or PhD research experience will not be counted.

The maximum age limit is 40 years as on 04.10.2026.

• SC/ST Category: 5 years
• OBC-NCL Category: 3 years
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years

Salary / Pay Scale

The approximate emoluments at the minimum of the pay scale for the position are:

Selected candidates will receive Basic Pay and DA, fixed/variable allowances @ 23% of Basic Pay, HRA/Lease, Contribution to PF, and Gratuity as per the Payment of Gratuity Act.

Selection Process

The selection process involves the following stages:

1. Document Scrutiny/Verification: All candidates who submit their online application will provisionally be allowed to appear for document scrutiny to verify their eligibility.
2. Interview: Eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

The weightage for the interview is 100%, broken down as follows:

• Technical & Professional proficiency: 65%
• Personality, Communication & Competency: 35%

A minimum of 60% marks in the interview is required for UR/EWS candidates, and 50% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD candidates applying against reserved posts, to be considered for placement on the panel.

Selected candidates will also need to be medically fit as per RITES Rules.
