South Central Railway GDCE Recruitment 2026 Announced

Eligibility Criteria

Only serving regular/permanent Railway Employees of erstwhile South Central Railway are eligible to apply. Employees must be drawing a substantive pay (excluding MACP/Ad-hoc promotion etc.) in any department/branch/headquarters/division/workshop/unit in a grade pay/level lower than the grade/pay scale of the notified posts.

The age criteria are as of 01.01.2027:

Important Note: No age relaxation is allowed to SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates applying against unreserved vacancies.

Educational Qualification

The minimum educational qualifications required for each post are:

• Nursing Superintendent: Certificate as Registered Nurse and Midwife, having passed a 3-year course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized school/institution, OR B.Sc. Nursing.
• Health & Malaria Inspector Gr.II: B.Sc. with Chemistry as a main or optional subject, PLUS one of the following: (a) One year Diploma of Health/Sanitary Inspector OR (b) One year National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Health Sanitary Inspector. Additionally, candidates must have passed 12th (+2 Stage) or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate. The 50% marks requirement is not applicable for SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability/Ex-servicemen and candidates with qualifications higher than 12th (+2 Stage).
• CCTC (Commercial cum Ticket Clerk): Not specified in the official notification.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selection Process

Minimum Qualifying Marks in CBT:

• UR: 40%
• OBC: 30%
• SC: 30%
• ST: 25%

These percentages may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates if there is a shortage of PwBD candidates against reserved vacancies.
