Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the specified educational and sports qualifications to be eligible for this recruitment.

• Level 1: 10th Pass, ITI, equivalent qualification, or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
• Level 2 and Level 3: 12th Pass or equivalent. For technical categories, Matriculation with completed Act Apprenticeship or ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.
• Level 4 and Level 5: Graduation from a government-recognised institution.

Candidates who are awaiting their final examination or results are not eligible. No relaxation is provided in the minimum educational qualification.

Typing Requirement: Candidates appointed as Clerk-cum-Typist must achieve a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi within four years of appointment. Appointment remains provisional until this is met.

• Age Calculation Date: 1 January 2026
• Eligible Date of Birth: Between 2 January 2002 and 1 January 2009 (both dates inclusive).

Candidates must possess recognised sports achievements for the pay level they are applying for. The required standard includes representation or medal-winning performances in recognised competitions such as Olympic Games, World Championships, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, National Championships, National Games, All India Inter-University Championships, National School Games, and others. The sports achievement must have been obtained on or after 1 April 2024 and up to the notification date. Applicants must be active sportspersons.

Application Fee

The application fee must be paid online. A refund is applicable only to candidates who appear for the sports trial.

Salary / Pay Scale

The salary will be as per the 7th CPC pay matrix:

• Level 4 and Level 5: Initial Pay Rs. 25,500 or Rs. 29,200
• Level 2 and Level 3: Initial Pay Rs. 19,900 or Rs. 21,700
• Level 1: Initial Pay Rs. 18,000

Selection Process

The selection process involves the following stages:
