SCTIMST Project Research Scientist II Recruitment

Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram, has announced recruitment for the post of Project Research Scientist II (Non-Medical) on a temporary contract basis. This position is for an ICMR-funded project titled "Reducing the Burden of Cardiovascular Events with Antiplatelet Therapy in Patients with Intracerebral Hemorrhage: BEAT-ICH India".

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the specified educational qualifications and experience requirements. The age limit is also a key factor for eligibility.

Essential:

• Master's degree in Clinical Research / Health Sciences / Public Health / Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Science / Biotechnology from a recognized University, with three years of experience in Clinical research/Clinical trials as required for the project.
• OR
• PhD in Clinical Research / Health Sciences / Public Health / Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Science / Biotechnology from a recognized University, with one year of experience in Clinical research/Clinical trials as required for the project.
• OR
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.) from a recognized university, with one year of experience in Clinical research/Clinical trials as required for the project.

Desirable:

• Good Communication and scientific writing skills.
• Working knowledge of statistical software including SPSS/Stata/R.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Working knowledge of clinical study databases.

The age limit is 40 years as on 01.09.2026.

Age relaxation up to 5 years will be granted to candidates having experience of working in Government Research Organizations as per ICMR Order No. 16/29/2023/Admin/E.Office No.157401 dated 18.10.2024.

Salary / Pay Scale

The monthly emoluments will be Rs. 67,000/- plus 20% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
