Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to be eligible for the Senior Resident posts:

Applicants must possess an MBBS degree with a postgraduate Degree/Diploma/DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized University/Institution. A valid registration with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) for MBBS and the requisite postgraduate qualification is mandatory. Candidates who have applied for DMC registration and have proof of application at the time of the interview are also eligible.

The maximum age limit for General category candidates is 45 years as of the interview date. Age relaxation is applicable as follows:

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation
• OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation
• Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan): 5 years extra relaxation

Candidates must not have completed 03 years of Senior Residency in any recognized institution, including regular and ad-hoc periods.
