Vacancy Details

Sibsagar University is filling vacancies for the following posts:

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and experience requirements to be eligible for these posts.

For all posts, candidates must possess a Master's degree in any subject with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized university.

• Controller of Examinations: At least 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Academic Level-11 and above, or 8 years in Academic Level-12 and above, including as Professor/Associate Professor, with experience in educational administration. Alternatively, 15 years of administrative experience, with 8 years as Deputy Controller of Examinations or equivalent.
• Deputy Registrar: 09 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Academic Level-10 and above with experience in educational administration. Alternatively, 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent.
• Deputy Controller of Examinations: 09 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Academic Level-10 and above with experience in Educational Administration. Alternatively, 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent.

Comparable experience in research establishments or other higher education institutions may also be considered.

The maximum age limit for all the posts is 55 years as on a specified date (date not mentioned in the notification).

Salary / Pay Scale

The pay scales for the selected candidates are as follows:

• Controller of Examinations: Rs. 1,44,200/- to Rs. 2,18,200/- (Academic Level-14)
• Deputy Registrar: Rs. 78,800/- to Rs. 2,11,500/- (Academic Level-12)
• Deputy Controller of Examinations: Rs. 78,800/- to Rs. 2,11,500/- (Academic Level-12)

Application Fee

The application fee is non-refundable.

• General Candidates: ₹2,000/-
• SC/ST Candidates: ₹1,000/-

The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of "Sibsagar University General Fund" and payable at Sibsagar.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their applications by a Screening Committee. Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview call. The decision of the Screening Committee for shortlisting will be final.

How to Apply

2. Fill in the application form completely and typewritten. Handwritten applications will not be accepted, except for the signature.
