Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

• A 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution.
• A 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution.
• A 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution.
• A higher qualification in the same discipline from a recognized university or institution.

Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have passed the Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects, or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language as specified by the Punjab Government.

The required educational and technical qualifications must be possessed before the last date for submission of online application forms, which is 06 April 2026.

State & Central Government employees need to produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department at the time of counselling to avail age relaxation.

Candidates must be residents or domiciled in Punjab State to avail reservation benefits. A valid Domicile/Residence Certificate of Punjab State (not older than 5 years at the time of counselling) is mandatory for all categories.
