Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to be eligible for the Apprentice Trainee positions.

Candidates must have completed their Degree/Diploma in June 2021 or thereafter. The required qualifications are:

• Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) / Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in disciplines such as Electronics, Electricals, Electronics & Communications, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• Bachelor in disciplines like Arts, Commerce, or Administration.

Stipend

The stipend per month is as follows:

• For B.E./B.Tech candidates: Rs. 15,000/-
• For Bachelor in Arts/Commerce/Administration etc. candidates: Rs. 12,300/-

The Screening-cum-Selection Committee may offer a higher stipend, up to Rs. 20,000/- per month, based on the candidate's performance in the interview.

Selection Process

Selection of candidates will be done through shortlisting based on their performance in the interview. Reservation will be applicable as per Government of India rules.

How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates must apply online through the STPI web portal. Before applying online on the STPI portal, it is mandatory for candidates to register on the NATS Portal.

1. Register on NATS Portal: Candidates must first register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Portal. Follow the steps provided in Annexure-A of the notification.
2. Apply on STPI Portal: After registering on NATS, apply online on the STPI web portal (www.stpi.in) under the Career Section.
3. Mention NATS ID: Candidates need to mention their NATS Enrolment ID on the STPI online application module.

Important Instructions

• Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship (if any) in the past at STPI or any other organization are not eligible.
• Only candidates who have completed their Degree/Diploma in June 2021 or thereafter are eligible.
• The stipend will be facilitated through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism via the NATS portal.
