Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Registrar post, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Masters' degree with at least 55% Marks or its equivalent grade ‘B' in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University/Institute.
• Experience:
  • Holding analogous post on regular basis in parent Department / Organisation in Central State Government / UTs / PSUs / Universities Research Institutes.
  • OR At least 15 years' experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of 7000/- (Pay Level-11 or corresponding) and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of 8000/- (Pay Level-12 or corresponding) and above including as Associate Professor along with 3 years experience in educational administration.
  • OR Comparable experience in research establishment and /or other institutions of higher education.
  • OR 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post in the GP of Rs.7600/- (Pay Level12 or corresponding) or above.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applicants is 58 years. Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India norms for Persons with Disabilities, Departmental Candidates, and Ex-Servicemen.
