Vacancy Details

UCSL is looking to engage 12 ITI Trade Apprentices. The vacancies are distributed across the following designated trades:

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the UCSL Apprentice positions:

• Domicile: Only candidates who are domicile of Karnataka will be considered.
• Previous Training: Those who have already undergone apprenticeship training in any organization under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for any duration, are not eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification

To apply for the ITI Trade Apprentice posts, candidates must have:

• Passed X standard.
• Passed ITI in the concerned trade, holding a National Trade Certificate (NTC).

Age Limit

The minimum age requirement for applicants is 18 years as on 14 October 2026.

Application Fee

There is no application fee for this recruitment.

Stipend

Selected apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹12,600 per month. This includes stipend and meals allowance.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on the following steps:

1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in their ITI qualification. If multiple candidates have the same marks, seniority in age will be used to decide merit.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email and must appear for verification of original certificates, including proof of age, qualification, and caste (if applicable).
3. Provisional Selection: Applicants will be provisionally selected based on merit and reservation, subject to successful verification of their eligibility and medical fitness.
4. Character and Antecedents Verification: Final selection is also subject to the verification of character and antecedents.

How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates should follow these steps to apply:

1. Download the application form (Annexure I) from the official notification.
2. Fill in the application form accurately and paste a recent passport-size photograph.
3. Scan the signed application form along with all required supporting documents (proof of age, educational qualification, experience, caste, etc.).
4. Email the scanned copies of the application form and documents to the designated email address mentioned in the notification.
5. After applying via email, candidates will receive a unique registration number from UCSL via email. Keep a soft copy or printout of this number for future reference.

Important: Ensure that the scanned copy of the application form (signed with photo pasted) and all certificates are sent via email. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

Documents Required

Candidates need to submit scanned copies of the following documents via email:

• Signed application form with a pasted photograph.
• Proof of age (e.g., Birth Certificate, School Leaving Certificate).
• ITI qualification certificate (National Trade Certificate - NTC).
• X standard marks card.
