Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL), a subsidiary of Cochin Shipyard Limited, has announced recruitment for Supervisor (Mechanical) positions on a contract basis. This notification is for Indian citizens interested in government sector jobs in Karnataka.

Candidates must meet the following educational and experience requirements to be eligible for the Supervisor (Mechanical) post.
Educational Qualification:Experience acquired after the qualification passing date will only be considered. The post-qualification experience will be calculated as of 08 October 2026.
The upper age limit for the Supervisor (Mechanical) post should not exceed 45 years as of 08 October 2026. This means applicants should be born on or after 09 October 1981.
Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories:
Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen will be as per Government of India guidelines. The maximum age limit after applying all relaxations should not exceed 55 years.
An application fee of ₹ 300/- (Non-refundable, plus bank charges extra) is required for all candidates except those belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST).

The remuneration for the Supervisor (Mechanical) post is on a consolidated pay basis for a contract period of five years. The monthly consolidated pay is as follows:

The selection process for the Supervisor (Mechanical) post will involve two phases:
Candidates need to secure minimum pass marks in Phase I tests. The descriptive test answer sheets will be evaluated only for those who pass the objective test. UCSL may relax minimum pass marks if the number of qualified candidates is insufficient. Candidates shortlisted after Phase I will undergo certificate verification before being called for Phase II.
