Candidates must be Indian citizens and meet the educational qualification and experience requirements as specified for each post.
The essential educational qualification for both Supervisor (Nesting) and Supervisor (Mechanical) posts is a Three-year Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from a State Board of Technical Education.
The minimum qualification must be from a University/Institute/Examination Board recognized by AICTE or an appropriate statutory authority.
A minimum of seven years of post-qualification experience is required for both posts. At least two years of this experience must be in a supervisory grade.
Experience acquired after the date of passing the qualification will only be considered. The period of post-qualification experience will be reckoned as of 28 October 2026.
The upper age limit for the posts shall not exceed 45 years as on 28 October 2026. This means applicants should be born on or after 29 October 1981.

The selection process will involve multiple stages:
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the number of applications received. Minimum pass marks are 50% for Unreserved posts and 40% for ST candidates for the written test. Shortlisted candidates will be called for certificate verification.
The Phase I Objective Type Test will have two parts: General (Part A) and Discipline related (Part B).
Each question carries one mark, and there is no negative marking for the objective type test. The descriptive type test will consist of discipline-related questions.
