  • If such a candidate is not available, any other woman from a BPL family in the same gram sabha/ward.
  • If no candidate is found under the above categories, a widow/divorced/deserted woman from a family living above the poverty line, in the same order of priority.
  • If still not found, women from families living above the poverty line.
If no eligible candidate is available in the gram sabha under any of the above categories, selection will be made category-wise from the concerned Nyay Panchayat.
