UPSSSC Senior Instructor Recruitment 2026 Overview

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of Senior Instructors. This recruitment drive aims to fill 132 vacancies across various disciplines. Eligible candidates who have appeared for the PET-2025 exam can apply online.

A total of 132 vacancies are available for the Senior Instructor post. These posts are spread across 13 disciplines. Category-wise reservation will be applied as per Uttar Pradesh government norms. All 132 posts are permanent.

Horizontal reservation is also available for persons with disabilities, women, dependents of freedom fighters, ex-servicemen, and outstanding sportspersons.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the UPSSSC Senior Instructor recruitment, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Must have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 and possess a valid score card issued by the Commission.
• Candidates with a zero or negative normalized/absolute PET-2025 score will not be shortlisted.

Educational Qualification

The required educational qualifications vary by discipline. Candidates must have the post-specific essential qualification as mentioned in the notification. Some examples include:

• Krishi Abhiyantran: Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering with at least 50% marks.
• Paudh Sanrakshan: B.Sc. (Agriculture) with at least 50% marks.
• Udyan Vigyan: B.Sc. (Agriculture) with at least 50% marks.
• Pashupalan: B.V.Sc. or M.V.Sc. (Animal Husbandry) with at least 50% marks.
• Mahila Kalyan: B.Sc. in Home Science / Home Economics / Nutrition / Diet with at least 50% marks.
• Sahkarita: M.A. (Economics) / M.Sc. (Agricultural Economics) / M.Com with at least 50% marks.
• Sarvajanik Swasthya: Graduate degree along with a Sanitary Inspector examination certificate recognized by the State Government.
• Utpadan: Degree/Diploma in Agricultural/Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Age Limit

The age will be calculated as of 1 July of the calendar year in which the post is advertised/notified. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other categories as per Uttar Pradesh government rules.

Application Fee

Dependents of freedom fighters, ex-servicemen, women, divyangjan, and outstanding sportspersons will pay the fee applicable to their original category. The fee can be paid through Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking/UPI or SBI e-Challan.

The fee for the Main Examination, if applicable, is not specified in this notification and has to be paid separately.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be placed at Pay Level-6 of the UP government pay matrix. The pay scale ranges from ₹35,400 (minimum) to ₹112,400 (maximum) per month.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the performance in the Main Written Examination. There is no interview process for this recruitment.

Shortlisting for the Main Examination will be done post-wise and category-wise, at 15 times the number of vacancies, based on the normalized PET-2025 score.
