Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before applying. The age limit and educational qualifications will be considered as of the last date of application submission.

• Urban Planner: Bachelor degree in Architecture/ Civil Engineering/ Urban Planning from a UGC recognized university AND Master's degree in City Planning/ Town Planning/ Regional Planning/ Traffic and Transportation Planning/ Urban Planning/ Infrastructure Planning/ Industrial Planning/ Environmental Planning. Minimum 03 years of relevant experience.
• Archaeology and Museology Officer: Post-graduate degree in Archaeology or Museology. Minimum 10 years of experience in heritage documentation, monument conservation, museum management, heritage research, tourism development, and government/semi-government heritage projects.
• Dy. Environmental Engineer: Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering. Minimum 02 years of experience in Environmental Management and Pollution Control.
• G.I.S. Operator/ Expert: Bachelor degree in Geography/Geoinformatics/ Urban Planning. Minimum 01 year of relevant experience.
• Assistant Environmental Engineer: Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering.
• Garden Supervisor: B. Sc. Horticulture. Minimum 02 years of experience in Horticulture.
• Sr. Librarian: Bachelor degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science. Minimum 02 years of experience in a Library under Central/ State Govt./ Autonomous or Statutory organization/ PSU/ University or Recognized Research or Education Institution.
• Jr. Librarian: Bachelor degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science.
• Asst. Garden Supervisor: Diploma in Horticulture. Minimum 02 years of experience in Horticulture.
• Work Assistant (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Work Assistant (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Work Assistant (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Work Assistant (Elec.- Mech.): Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Draftsman (AutoCAD): 02 years Certificate in Civil Draftsman (ITI). Minimum 01 year of experience in AutoCAD.
• Surveyor: Certificate of Surveyor course (ITI). Minimum 02 years of relevant experience.

The maximum age limit for all posts is 45 years as of the last date of application. No further age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates as the maximum age limit is fixed at 45 years for all posts.

Salary / Pay Scale

The monthly consolidated salary for the posts are as follows:

Selection Process

The selection process will be based on the marks obtained in the educational qualification and experience. For certain posts, a shortlist of candidates will be prepared based on marks, followed by a personal interview.

• For Work Assistant (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Elec.-Mech.), Assistant Environmental Engineer, and Jr. Librarian posts, selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Diploma/Degree.
• For Draftsman (AutoCAD), Surveyor, Sr. Librarian, Garden Supervisor, and Asst. Garden Supervisor posts, selection will be based on marks obtained in ITI/Diploma/Degree and experience.
• For Urban Planner, Archaeology and Museology Officer, G.I.S. Operator/Expert, and Dy. Environmental Engineer posts, candidates will be shortlisted based on marks in Master's Degree (for Urban Planner, Archaeology/Museology Officer) or Bachelor's Degree (for G.I.S. Operator, Dy. Environmental Engineer) and experience. Approximately 6 times the number of vacancies will be called for a personal interview.
• In case of a tie in marks, the candidate with the higher age will be given preference.
