CSIR NEIST Driver and MTS Result 2026 Released

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - North East Institute of Science and Technology (CSIR-NEIST) has announced the result for the Driver (DR) and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) recruitment. This result is for Advertisement Number 01/2026-REC. The result was published on 25 September 2026.

Two separate lists have been released. One list shows candidates provisionally recommended for the next stage of the Driver recruitment. The other list shows candidates provisionally recommended to appear for the written examination for the MTS post. Both notifications also include a list of candidates who were not recommended, with the specific reasons for each.

How to Check Your Name in the CSIR-NEIST Result List

1. Open the official notification PDF for the Driver or MTS post.
2. Visit the official website www.neist.res.in and go to the recruitment/careers section, or use the direct PDF links provided below.
3. Search for your Application ID. The lists are arranged by Application ID in ascending order. You can use your browser's "Find" function (Ctrl+F) and type your Application ID.
4. Check which list your Application ID appears in.
5. If your ID is in the "Provisionally Recommended" list, note your serial number.
6. If your ID is in the "Not Recommended" list, read the reason mentioned against your name.

Please note that recommendation is provisional. The candidature of all shortlisted candidates is subject to verification of their testimonials and documents.

How to Submit a Representation (Objection) Against the Result

Candidates who wish to raise an objection against the committee's recommendation can submit a representation. This must be done online through the official representation portal.

1. Go to the CSIR-NEIST Representation Portal for the relevant post (Driver or MTS).
2. Fill in the required details on the portal.
3. Attach self-attested documentary proof that supports your representation.
4. Submit the representation on or before 10 October 2026.

Important: No representation will be accepted after 10 October 2026. Candidates should not wait until the last moment to submit their objections.
