The MPPSC revised selection list is an updated version of the original selection list, released in compliance with a High Court order. This section explains the background and reason for revising the earlier declared result. The commission had originally declared the selection list (Order No. 8064/50/2024/Chayan) and the marks list (Order No. 8065/50/2024/Chayan) on 26 August 2025. However, following a petition filed before the Indore Bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court (W.P. No. 39146/2025 and related petitions), the court directed that candidates whose interview candidature had earlier been rejected by the commission be reinstated in the selection process. In compliance with this judicial direction, MPPSC cancelled the earlier selection list and marks list and now declares this revised selection list based solely on 87% Main Part posts, computed on merit from interview marks.
The main selection list contains 80 candidates selected on merit across all reserved and unreserved categories. Below is the complete list as published in the official PDF.

MPPSC has issued five important notes along with the revised selection list. Candidates and appointees must read and comply with all these conditions before joining.
Note 1 - Open Category Appointments: As per Government of Madhya Pradesh General Administration Department letter No. F-7-46/99/A.P./One, dated 7 November 2000, candidates from reserved categories selected against open (unreserved) posts must meet the eligibility criteria without any relaxation, on a par with general category candidates. Reserved category candidates have been selected on merit for open posts only when they qualified without any concession.
Note 2 - Women Reservation Rule: As per Government letter No. C/3-2/97/3/One dated 10 February 1997, Clause 5, if sufficient women candidates are not available to fill the posts reserved for women, such posts shall be filled by male candidates of the respective category.
Note 3 - Computer or Typographical Errors: If any computer or clerical error is brought to the commission's notice after the publication of the selection result, the commission reserves the right to correct the selection list.
Note 4 - Vacant Posts After Selection: Out of 203 total posts in the 87% main list, 117 posts remained vacant due to non-availability of eligible or suitable candidates. These 117 posts are distributed as follows: SC - 30 posts, ST - 43 posts, OBC - 17 posts, EWS - 27 posts. Additionally, 14 posts were reserved for differently-abled candidates, but as no suitable differently-abled applicants were found, 12 of those posts could not be filled. As per government norms, 6 of these differently-abled vacancies have been converted to open unreserved category posts. Therefore, the total number of vacancies remaining is 117 + 6 = 123 posts.
Note 5 - Subject to Pending Court Cases: The declared result is subject to the final orders of the Supreme Court in SLP No. 8764/2023, SLP No. 12398/2023, and the Madhya Pradesh High Court cases W.P. No. 5901/2019 and W.P. 5596/2024.
Candidates can follow these simple steps to access and download the official PDF of the revised selection list from the MPPSC website.
