Selection Process

The final selection is based on the total marks obtained in the written examination and interview combined (900 marks). If candidates have equal total marks, the following tie-break rules are applied:

1. Candidate with higher combined total marks in written examination and interview is ranked first.
2. If total marks are still equal, the candidate with higher marks in the written examination alone is ranked higher.
3. If written examination marks are also equal, the candidate with a higher age is given preference.

Important Notes

• This result covers only the 87% main portion of the advertised posts. The result for the remaining 13% provisional portion (related to OBC reservation) will be declared separately after the final judicial decision in the related court matter.
• No representations or objections regarding the provisional portion will be considered until the final court decision.
• As per a General Administration Department circular dated 10.02.1997, posts reserved for women may be filled by male candidates of the respective category if sufficient eligible women candidates are not available.
• The declared result is subject to the final outcome of pending cases before the Supreme Court and the High Court. The result of candidates involved in ongoing court cases has been kept on hold.
• Eligibility for guest faculty reservation and applicable age relaxation has been verified by a departmental committee.
• The Commission reserves the right to correct any computer or clerical error noticed after the publication of the result.
