• Educational Qualification:
  • A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or Part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  • A postgraduate qualification, i.e., M.D. in Radiotherapy or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Experience:
  • Three years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the specialty of Radiotherapy after obtaining the MD degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in operating a Linear Accelerator is desirable.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for the Assistant Professor (Contractual) post is not more than 50 years as on the cut-off date, which is 29.09.2026.

Age relaxation rules as per Government of India guidelines will apply.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay an application fee:

• Rs. 1500 + 18% GST = Rs. 1,770/-

The fee must be paid through a Demand Draft only. The Demand Draft should be in favour of “AIIMS Kalyani Internal Resources Account” and payable at Kalyani.

The application fee, once remitted, will not be refunded.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,42,506/- per month.

Selection Process

Important Instructions

• The engagement is purely on a contractual basis for a period of 1 year or until the post is filled on a regular basis, whichever is earlier.
• This contractual engagement does not grant any right for permanent absorption.
