Eligibility Criteria
Educational QualificationCandidates must possess an M.Sc. degree in Food Science and Technology/Nutrition or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Additionally, 2 years of experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science & Technology Organisations is required.
Age LimitThe maximum age limit for candidates is 35 years as of 30.09.2026. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/PwBD/Women (05 years) and OBC (03 years) categories as per government rules.
Note: Candidates who have already completed a total tenure of 6 years in any CSIR Lab/Institute as Project Staff are not eligible to apply.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 28,000/- per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA).
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted by a designated committee. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the interview date via email. If a large number of applications are received, the committee may use criteria such as marks obtained in essential qualification, higher educational qualifications, or desirable experience for shortlisting. The final selection will be based on performance in the interview.
