And 02 Years Experience in Research and development in industrial and academic institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services. Working Experience about agronomic, field experiment, soil plant analysis, Product development, extension activities, handling of analytical R&D equipments along with preparation related to natural product chemistry, biological microbiology, nanotechnology. 35 Years
Project Assistant-II B.Sc. in Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry; or B.Sc. in Biological sciences (ZBC or others). Experience in organization of training programs, report and presentation preparation, Extension activities. 35 Years

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates will be 05 years, and for OBC candidates, it will be 03 years.

Salary / Stipend

The stipend for the selected candidates will be as follows:

  • Project Associate-I: (a) Rs. 31,000 + HRA (for NET/GATE qualified candidates) (b) Rs. 25,000 + HRA (for others)
  • Project Associate-II: (a) Rs. 35,000 + HRA (for NET/GATE qualified candidates) (b) Rs. 28,000 + HRA (for others)
  • Project Assistant-II: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA. An increment of 15% will be given after 03 years of experience in the same project.

HRA will be admissible as per sanction in the projects.

Selection Process

Selection will be made through an interview. However, if a large number of candidates apply, a screening test with multiple-choice objective questions may be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview. The final selection will be based on the performance in the interview.

How to Apply

Candidates need to attend the walk-in interview with all required documents. The application form will be available at the interview venue on the day of the interview. Candidates can also download the application form in advance from the official website.

Documents Required

At the time of the interview, candidates must bring the following:

  • One latest photograph
  • Original documents
  • Self-attested copies of certificates of examinations passed (starting from matriculation)
  • Certificate indicating date of birth
  • Experience certificate (if any)

Tentative mark sheets/certificates and 'result awaited' documents will not be accepted.

Important Instructions

  • Candidates should report to the venue one hour before the scheduled time for document verification.
  • The appointment will be co-terminus with the project duration, subject to satisfactory performance and funding.
  • The total tenure for project staff in CSIR projects should not exceed 6 years, with a cumulative maximum of 7 years across different projects/labs.
  • If there is any discrepancy between the English and Hindi versions of the advertisement, the English version will prevail.
  • Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
  • The number of positions may vary.
