Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to be eligible for the Project Associate-II position.

The required educational qualification is M. Tech in Water Resources, Hydrology, or Environmental Engineering from a recognized university.

• Understanding of groundwater-dependent ecosystems.
• Ability to estimate evapotranspiration using flux measurement.
• Experience in remote sensing and GIS application.
• Proficiency in report writing.
• Willingness for extensive field work.

The upper age limit for candidates is 35 years. The age limit will be calculated as on the last date of receipt of applications.

Salary / Pay Scale

The monthly emoluments for the Project Associate-II position are as follows:

• Rs. 35,000/- + HRA per month for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET lectureship/Assistant professorship or GATE, or have qualified national-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent.
• Rs. 28,000/- + HRA per month for other eligible candidates who do not fall under the above category.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on an Online Interview conducted via platforms like MS Teams or Skype. The date of the interview will be announced separately on the CSIR-NEERI website.

• CSIR-NEERI reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the offer of engagement.
• Selected candidates are expected to join within the timeframe mentioned in the offer letter.
