Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be Indian nationals. All applicants should preferably hold a master's degree in law and possess excellent legal professional skills with a demonstrated interest in international law, international trade law, investment law, and related fields. Strong written and spoken English communication, research, drafting, and legal analytical skills are required.
Post Qualification Experience (PQE) is defined as work experience obtained after successfully completing a law degree. Experience gained during a PhD (up to three years) is not counted towards PQE.
Specific Eligibility for Each Post: 1. Consultant (with PhD / without PhD)- Age Limit: Not more than 50 years.
- Educational Qualification: Master's degree in economics, law, international law, public policy, data science, cost accounting, or a related discipline. Minimum 55% marks (or equivalent) at Bachelor's and Master's levels.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years in international trade and allied fields.
- Candidates with a PhD will be considered for Senior Research Fellow (with PhD).
- Candidates without a PhD will be considered for Senior Research Fellow (without PhD).
- Age Limit: Not more than 45 years.
- Educational Qualification: Master's degree in economics, law, international law, public policy, data science, cost accounting, or a related discipline. Minimum 55% marks (or equivalent) at Bachelor's and Master's levels.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 1 year in international trade and allied fields.
- Age Limit: Not more than 35 years.
- Educational Qualification: Master's degree in economics, law, international law, public policy, data science, cost accounting, or a related discipline. Minimum 55% marks (or equivalent) at Bachelor's and Master's levels.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience.
- Age Limit: Not more than 28 years.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB.) OR a Master's degree in economics, diplomacy, international relations, public policy, data science, general management, cost accounting, or a related discipline from a University ranked in the top 25 by NIRF, or top 100 by QS World University Ranking or Times Higher Education Ranking.
- Experience: Prior work experience is not required.
Salary / Remuneration
Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly remuneration based on their category, experience, and last drawn pay (in exceptional cases). The remuneration ranges are as follows:
- Young Professional (without prior experience): ₹ 50,000/- per month
- Young Professional: ₹ 60,000/- per month
- Associate: ₹ 80,000 - ₹ 1,45,000/- per month
- Consultant (with PhD): ₹ 1,45,000 - ₹ 2,65,000/- per month
- Consultant (without PhD): ₹ 1,37,500 - ₹ 2,65,000/- per month
Selection Process
The selection process involves an evaluation of applications. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email for the next stages, which may include a written test and an interview. The written test will assess competence in international trade law, international investment law, or general international economic law.
CTIL/IIFT reserves the right to shortlist candidates in any manner deemed appropriate. Not all eligible candidates may be called for the selection process.
