Educational Qualifications and Eligibility
Candidates must meet the specific educational qualifications and experience requirements for each post, as laid down in Annexure IV of the Mission Shakti Scheme Implementation Guidelines. These criteria shall not be lowered under any circumstances. Higher qualifications in the same subject are accepted in place of the prescribed degree. Qualifications and experience must be held on the date of the notification.
- District Mission Coordinator: Degree, preferably in Social Sciences, Life Sciences, Nutrition, Medicine, Health Management, Social Work or Rural Management, from a recognised University. Minimum 3 years of work experience in a related field with Government or a non-Government organisation.
- Gender Specialist: Degree in Social Work or another social discipline, from a recognised University. Post-graduates will be preferred. Minimum 3 years of work experience on gender focused themes with Government or a non-Government organisation.
- Specialist in Financial Literacy: Degree in Economics, Banking or a similar discipline, from a recognised University. Post-graduates will be preferred. Minimum 3 years of work experience on financial literacy or financial inclusion with Government or a non-Government organisation.
- Accounts Assistant: Degree or diploma in accounts, or in another discipline with accounts as a subject, from a recognised University or Board. Minimum 3 years of work experience in a related field with Government or a non-Government organisation.
- Multi Tasking Staff: Pass in Class X from a recognised Board. No experience required.
Experience will only be counted if the certificate shows the post held, dates of joining and relieving, supported by appointment order and proof of payment (bank statement, pay slips, EPF record). Field work, project work, internships as a student, and voluntary service will not be counted. Certificates from NGOs must include the registration number and NGO Darpan ID if available.
Age Limit and Relaxation
Candidates must have completed 21 years of age and not have completed 44 years of age as on 01.10.2026. The upper age limit is relaxed by five years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Backward Classes, and by ten years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities. This relaxation does not apply to individuals currently working in the Hub.

Selection Process
The selection process involves a written examination followed by an oral test. The entire selection process, including the declaration of results, is scheduled to be completed on the same day as the examination.
- Written Examination: For posts at Sl.No.1 to 4, the exam will have 200 objective questions for 90 minutes. For post Sl.No.5, it will have 100 objective questions for 60 minutes. Each question carries one mark, and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. Questions left unanswered will not incur any deduction. The syllabus is provided in Annexure II.
- Oral Test: A test of 25 marks will be conducted.
- Merit List: The final selection list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in the written examination and the oral test. In case of a tie, the candidate with higher marks in the written examination will be ranked higher. If the tie persists, the older candidate will be given preference.
- Medical Examination and Police Verification: Selected candidates must undergo a medical examination and police verification.
For Gender Specialist and Specialist in Financial Literacy posts, an additional five marks will be awarded for a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject.
