• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have successfully completed the Recorder Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training from the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre. • Computer Proficiency: Candidates must possess proficiency in computer use, with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute (WPM) in English and 15 WPM in Assamese or Bengali.
• Age Limit: Candidates should be at least 21 years old and not more than 40 years old as of the calculation date. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as per Government OM No. ABP.6/2016/51, dated 02/09/2020. The age will be calculated based on the Class X/Class XII Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Mark sheet.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a salary in the Pay Band-2, ranging from ₹14,000 to ₹70,000 per month, along with a Grade Pay of ₹6,200.

Selection Process

The selection process for the Land Record Assistant post involves two stages:

1. Written Examination (80 Marks): This will be an Objective Type (MCQs) exam. The syllabus includes Mathematics (Class X Standard) for 10 marks, Conventional Survey for 50 marks, and Modern Survey for 20 marks. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
2. Skill Test (Computer Proficiency) (20 Marks): This practical test will assess English and Assamese or Bengali typing skills.

Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks in both the Written Examination and the Skill Test. The final merit list will be prepared based on the aggregate marks obtained in both stages, subject to fulfilling all eligibility conditions.
