DMSRDE Paid Internship Recruitment 2026 Announced

Defence Materials and Stores Research & Development Establishment (DMSRDE), Kanpur, a key laboratory of the Defence R&D Organization (DRDO), has announced a Paid Internship program. This opportunity is for final year students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in Engineering and Science. The internship duration is for six months.

Internship Details

DMSRDE is looking for students with excellent academic records to undertake paid internships. The program aims to provide practical experience in various disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Paid Internship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Students must be pursuing their final year of an undergraduate degree in Engineering or a postgraduate degree in Engineering and Science. The course must be full-time and from a recognized Indian University/Institute.

Applicants should be below 28 years of age as of 28 September 2026.

DMSRDE will offer internships to students with good academic records, having secured 65% and above marks or a CGPA of 6.5 or higher from AICTE/UGC approved colleges/universities.

The last date to submit applications for the Paid Internship program is 28 September 2026, by 17:00 hours.

Selection Process

The selection of eligible students will be based on their academic merit (CGPA). Depending on the requirement, candidates may also be selected through an online interview or interaction. The selection is subject to satisfactory verification of all required documents.

DMSRDE reserves the right to change the vacancy positions or selection criteria at any point during the selection process without assigning any reason.

Application Procedure

Interested and eligible students must follow these steps to apply:

1. Advance Copy: Send an advance copy of the application form along with all required documents via email to the specified email address on or before 28 September 2026.
2. Hard Copy: Submit the hard copy of the relevant documents by Speed Post or by hand (at the DMSRDE Main Gate) to the given mailing address.

When sending the application, clearly mention 'Application for Paid Internship' on the envelope. Also, include the 'Branch Code' for easy segregation of applications.

• Application form (Page No. 01)
• Request letter from the Institute/University (Page No. 02-03)
• Undertaking of Indian Official Secret Act & IT, Rules and Regulations (Page No. 04)
• High School Mark Sheet
• All previous Mark Sheets of the concerned course (i.e., Under-graduation/Post-graduation)
• Copy of Photo Identity Card issued by the Institute/University
• Student Bio-data

Important Instructions

• The internship duration is 06 months. A completion certificate will be issued after successful completion.
• Boarding or lodging expenses will not be covered.
• Incomplete or incorrect applications received after the due date will be rejected without further communication.
• Selection will be based solely on merit. No communication will be sent to non-selected candidates.
• Selected students will be informed about joining procedures via the email ID mentioned in the application form.
