Candidates must meet the following conditions to be eligible for the Ayurvedic Physician post:

• A degree in Ayurveda from a university, statutory state board, council, or Faculty of Indian Medicine recognized under the Indian Central Council Act, 1970.
• Enrolment on the central register of Indian Medicine or a State Register of Indian Medicine.

• Candidates must be retired officials of Central/State Government who were governed by the Old Pension Scheme.

• The engagement shall be up to attaining the age of 70 years.

Application Fee

The application fee details are as follows:

• The fee must be paid through a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of “ESIC Fund Account No. 2” payable at Gurugram.
• The DD must be issued after the date of the advertisement (12.08.2025).
• Application fees paid by any other mode will not be accepted.
• Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Salary / Remuneration

The remuneration for the Ayurvedic Physician will be decided based on DOE OM No. 03-25/2020 E.III-A dated 09/12/2020. The salary will be calculated as:

• Pay drawn at the time of retirement minus basic Pension.
• A fixed amount as Transport Allowance will be allowed as per guidelines of DOE OM No. 03-25/2020-E.III-A dated 09/12/2020. TA will be paid at the rate applicable to the appointee at the time of retirement or Rs. 7200/-, whichever is less.

Documents Required for Walk-in Interview

Candidates must bring the following documents (originals and one set of self-attested photocopies) to the interview:

• Identity Proof (PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, etc.)

• Age Proof (Matriculation/10th Certificate or Birth Certificate)
• Enrolment certificate on the central or state register of Indian Medicine.
• Copy of PPO NO. and Last Pay Certificate.
• Educational Qualification certificates (10th/12th/Degree in Ayurveda).
• Experience certificate (if applicable).
• Reservation category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS/Ex-servicemen) in the format prescribed by the Government of India.
• Two recent Passport-size Photographs.
• Duly filled Bio-data form as per “Annexure-F”.
• Demand Draft for application fee (if applicable).

Important Instructions

• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview or for joining/completing the assignment.
• Non-practicing allowance (NPA) will not be admissible. Private practice of any kind is not permitted.
• The engagement is purely on a contractual basis for one year, extendable up to 70 years of age or till a regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier.
• Selected candidates must enter into an agreement with the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model Hospital Gurugram, on a Non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/-, the cost of which will be borne by the candidate.
• Selected candidates will have to furnish a Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque for Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) drawn in favor of “ESIC Fund Account No. 2” payable at State Bank of India, Gurugram, towards Security Deposit.
• The engagement is a full-time job; no other assignment is permitted during the contract period.
• Candidates must be medically fit and submit a medical certificate from an MBBS doctor within a week of joining.
• Hostel accommodation, quarters, or uniform will not be provided.
• An undertaking must be submitted stating no criminal/vigilance/disciplinary cases are pending against the candidate.
• Incomplete applications or applications in formats other than Annexure-F will be rejected.
