Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh has announced recruitment for Specialist and Senior Resident positions. Vacancy Details

A total of 23 vacancies are available for the posts of Specialist and Senior Resident. The number of vacancies may change.

Vacancies are distributed across various departments including Anesthesiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Chest, Emergency Medicine, ENT, EYE, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Orthopaedics, Radiology, and Surgery.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the specified educational qualifications and age limits to be eligible for these posts.

• Specialist (Full Time/Part Time): PG Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty and registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI). Preference will be given to PG qualified candidates. Experience requirements include 3 years after PG Degree or 5 years after PG Diploma.
• Senior Resident: PG Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty and registered with MCI. If PG Degree/Diploma holders are unavailable, candidates with 2 years of experience after MBBS in the concerned specialty may be considered.

• Full-time Specialist / Part-time Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years as on the date of interview. Tenure beyond 70 years is not allowed.
• Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of interview.

Age relaxation will be provided to SC, ST, and OBC candidates as per Central Government rules.

Application Fee

The application fee details are as follows:

• UR, OBC & EWS Candidates: Rs. 500/-
• Female Candidates, SC/ST, PwD Candidates: No fee

The fee should be paid in the form of a Demand Draft payable at Bhilai in favour of ‘ESI Fund A/c no. 01’.

Salary / Pay Scale

The remuneration for the selected candidates will be as follows:

• Full-time Specialist: Rs. 1,37,837/- per month plus TA and DA (for candidates with PG Degree).
• Part-time Specialist: Rs. 60,000/- per month for 16 hours per week. Additional charges apply for emergency visits and extra hours.
• Senior Resident: Rs. 1,37,837/- per month plus TA and DA (for candidates with PG Degree). A deduction of Rs. 1350/- will be made for those with only a Diploma, and Rs. 2250/- for those without a Diploma/Degree.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in a walk-in interview. The Medical Superintendent reserves the right to fill or not fill any vacancy.
