ESIC Hospital Ezhukone Recruitment 2026: Walk-in for Specialist & Senior Resident Posts

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital, Ezhukone, Kollam, Kerala has announced vacancies for Specialist (Full Time/Part Time) and Senior Resident positions. Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: MBBS degree with TCMC registration and Post Graduate Degree/DNB, or Diploma in the concerned speciality. For ICU, PG degree or PG Diploma holders in Anaesthesia/General Medicine/Pulmonology/Critical care and registered with the Medical Council.
• Experience: Three years of experience in the respective speciality for degree holders or five years of experience for diploma holders.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 69 years as on the date of interview. Tenure beyond 70 years is not allowed.

• Educational Qualification: For speciality departments, Post Graduate Degree/DNB, or Diploma in the concerned specialty after MBBS with TCMC registration is required. For ICU, PG Degree or PG Diploma holders in Anesthesiology/General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/Emergency Medicine/Critical care medicine and registered with the Medical Council is required. All postgraduate additional qualifications must also be registered with the Medical Council.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of interview. Relaxation for reserved candidates will be as per rules.

Application Fee

Candidates need to pay the application fee through Demand Draft:

• General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 250/-
• SC/ST Candidates: Rs. 50/-

No application fee is required for female candidates and PWD candidates. The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of ‘ESIC Fund A/c No.1' payable at SBI Keralapuram Branch. Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Salary / Pay Scale

Remuneration payable is approximately Rs. 1,42,514/- per month. For retired officials, instructions issued by GOI/ESIC will apply.

Remuneration is Rs. 60,000/- per month for working 4 hours per day, four days a week (16 hours). Additional Rs. 15,000/- is admissible as visiting charges in case of emergency (if willing). Rs. 800/- for additional hours beyond 16 hours, subject to justification.

Total emoluments are approximately Rs. 1,42,514/- per month (for PG Degree holders) as per Level 11 of 7th CPC. An amount of Rs. 1350/- will be deducted for Senior Residents who possess only a Diploma.

Remuneration is revisable as per ESIC Headquarters instructions from time to time.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in a walk-in interview. All necessary original documents and self-attested copies must be produced at the time of the interview.

Candidates are advised to bring the following documents in original along with one self-attested copy of each to the walk-in interview:

• MBBS degree certificate
• Degree Certificate (PG Degree/Diploma)
• TCMC/ Kerala Dental Council/ MCI Registration Certificate (for basic and additional qualification)
• Matriculation Certificate (for Date of Birth proof)
• Experience Certificate
• Caste Certificate and non-creamy layer certificate (if applicable)
• Demand Draft (as applicable)

SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificates should be issued by a Tahsildar or Revenue Divisional Officer and be as per Government of India norms. OBC candidates must provide a non-creamy layer certificate. PWD candidates need a disability certificate from a constituted Medical Board.

Important Instructions
