Vacancy Details

The Family Court, Lakhimpur Kheri has announced 02 vacancies for the post of Counselor.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold a Graduate degree in either Sociology or Psychology. They should also have experience in social service.

Preference: Candidates holding a Master's degree in Social Work with two years of experience in family counseling will be given preference.

Age Limit: The age of the applicant must be between 35 to 65 years as of the last date of application.

Local Preference: Efforts will be made to appoint individuals from the same district where the Family Court is located. If no suitable candidate is found from the district, candidates from other districts may be considered.

Salary / Pay Scale

The appointed Counselor will receive a fixed honorarium as per the Government Order. This will be Rs. 1000/- per working day or Rs. 24,000/- per month, whichever is less.

Selection Process

After receiving the applications, the State Government will scrutinize them. A list of approximately five candidates for each post will be prepared.

The State Government will then send the list of eligible candidates to the Hon'ble High Court. The Hon'ble High Court, in consultation with a qualified expert in family and child development, will recommend names to the State Government.

The Hon'ble High Court will consider the names recommended by the State Government. Based on the High Court's recommendation, the State Government will issue the final notification.

The appointment of a Counselor will not be considered a government service appointment. They will be associated with the court on a contractual basis.
