• Executive Trainee (Electrical): Bachelor Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engg.) in Electrical / Electrical, Electronics & Power / Electrical & Electronics / Electrical & Power with minimum 65% marks.
• Executive Trainee (Mechanical): Bachelor Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engg.) in Mechanical / Production / Production & Industrial / Manufacturing / Mechanical & Automobile with minimum 65% marks.

Integrated dual degree courses (B.E./B.Tech. + M.E./M.Tech., B.E./B.Tech. + MBA, or B.E./B.Tech. + M.Sc.) in the relevant discipline are also considered, provided the final percentage meets the criteria.

• General, EWS, and OBC (NCL) candidates: Minimum 65% marks in the Bachelor's degree.
• SC/ST/PwBD candidates: Minimum 60% marks (a 5% relaxation). This relaxation is applicable only for posts reserved for SC/ST/PwBD.

Candidates applying against unreserved posts are assessed under general merit standards with no relaxation in minimum qualifying percentage. No rounding off of marks is allowed.

Passing Year: Candidates who completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering in 2026 or are currently in the final year (2026–27) are eligible. Those who completed their degree in 2025 or earlier are not eligible. Final-year candidates must secure the minimum prescribed percentage by 31 August 2027.
