Eligibility Criteria
Age LimitThe maximum age limit for candidates is 45 years as on the date of the interview.
Educational Qualification- MBBS degree from a recognized University/Institution.
- Post Graduate (PG) Degree or DNB in the concerned specialty (Ophthalmology) from a recognized University/Institution.
- Must possess a valid registration from the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) or have a DMC acknowledgment slip by the date of the interview. If a DMC acknowledgment slip is submitted, a valid DMC Registration Certificate must be submitted within 45 days of joining, otherwise, the candidature will be cancelled.
- Candidates must not have completed 03 years of Senior Residency in any recognized Institution/Hospital, including both regular and adhoc tenures.
- The appointment is purely on an adhoc and emergent basis for a period of 44 days or until a regular candidate is appointed, whichever is earlier.
- The tenure may be extended further with a one-day break, subject to satisfactory work and conduct reports and a written request from the concerned Head of Department (HOD).
- The maximum tenure for Senior Residency shall be 03 years in total, including any previous adhoc or regular tenure in any government hospital/institute/organization.
- Adhoc appointees will not have any claim over the post, and their services will be terminated without notice when a regular appointee joins.

All candidates are exempted from paying any application fee for this recruitment.
Salary and Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be paid as per Pay Level-11, Cell No. 1 of the Pay Matrix, which is Rs. 67,700/- per month, plus usual allowances as admissible.
