Eligibility

Age Relaxation: Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories, as well as Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen, are eligible for age relaxation as per Gujarat Government rules. Selection Process

• Written Examination: This is the primary stage of selection. • Document Verification (DV): Based on the merit list, a select number of candidates – roughly double the number of available vacancies in each category – will be called for document verification. • Final Selection List & Waiting List: After successful document verification, the GSSSB will prepare and release the final list of selected candidates. A waiting list will also be prepared, which may be used if selected candidates do not join or if additional vacancies arise within a specific period.

• Regular Appointment and 7th Pay Commission: After successfully completing five years of service, candidates will be eligible for regular appointment. At this stage, they will be placed in the 7th Pay Commission pay scale, specifically Level-2, which ranges from ₹19,900 to ₹63,200.
